• Swiss Franc Shock — 15 January 2015: The Swiss National Bank unexpectedly abandoned its minimum exchange rate against the euro, triggering an extraordinary surge in Swiss franc volatility.
• Brexit Market Shock — 24 June 2016: Following the UK's EU referendum, GBP/USD experienced sharp price movements, with reported intraday declines of approximately 1,750 pips in some market data.
• GBP/USD Flash Crash — 7 October 2016: Sterling experienced a sudden and severe price decline, with reported movements of around 1,100 pips in some data sources.

These historical events provide challenging scenarios for evaluating an automated trading system's behaviour under extreme market conditions.

Our conservative money-management configuration is designed to help manage trading exposure during volatile periods. However, historical testing does not guarantee future performance or prevent losses under all market conditions.
